I'm using 12.1 version and somehow any input image is completely ignored. What am I doing wrong? I have not made any changes to the template, just downloaded the models and placed them in their respective folders.

You can try use Kijai's WanVACE components (WanVideo Start To End Frame > WanVaceToVideo > KSampler), or even swap WanImageToVideo for https://github.com/princepainter/ComfyUI-PainterI2V install via comfy manager...
I think I just found the issue. Will update here if I fix it. Thanks!
Fixed. I was using a wrong template. I have downloaded the one mentioned in version 3 folder.
